Don McCullin

Tate Britain presents a comprehensive retrospective of the legendary British photographer Don McCullin, the exhibition showcases some of the most impactful photographs captured over the last 60 years of his career. McCullin famous for his war photographs,  unforgettable and harrowing: from Vietnam, Northern Ireland and Syria. The same drama is found in the images that tell theof poverty and working class life in London’s East End and the industrial north of England; At last the surprising photographs dedicated to landscapes in recent years, almost an antidote to the horrors and atrocious conflicts that Sir Don McCullin has documented in his life.
The over 250 photographs, all printed by McCullin himself in his own darkroom, are accompanied in the show with his brutally honest commentaries.
