Fotografia Europea 2021 – Make way for the dreamers!

A fundamental annual event on contemporaneity, in 2021 Fotografia Europea has shown an extraordinary ability to rethink itself. The playful and imaginative dream inspired by Gianni Rodari and his poetry overlapped with randomness and unpredictability and combined with fantasy, as an antidote and resource against the difficulties of reality.

SI FEST. The eldest photography festival in Italy

The festival has just turned thirty. Numerous artists, authors, photographers and scholars have passed through Savignano in these thirty years. “FUTURA. Tomorrow of photography”: with this title, the artistic director Denis Curti wanted to celebrate the important anniversary with a reflection on the present, starting from the past and in an attempt to give a physiognomy to the future of photography.

Festival of Ethical Photography and the best of international photojournalism

Can photography be a witness and vehicle for information but also for a change of perspective? As every year, the Festival in Lodi focuses on telling stories of our time without limitations and free from a sugar-coated narrative that often pervades the culture of contemporary images. Offering a broader vision in the international context, allowing us to look at lives which are completely different from ours.

Enrico Stefanelli – Director

Enrico Stefanelli is a photographer, journalist and curator. He also holds photography workshops.
He is the founder and artistic director of the Photolux Festival.

Dario Orlandi

Professional photographer since 2002 and journalist since 2004, he has worked for the main Italian publishing groups and has done portrait and documentary work for institutional and private clients.

Beatrice Bruni

Professional photographer and teacher, Beatrice Bruni graduated in Photography at the Studio Marangoni Foundation of Florence in 2013, where she teaches Creative Photography with mobile devices in the second year of the Triennial Course.

Chiara Ruberti

Chiara Ruberti is the chief coordinator of the Photolux Festival of Lucca since 2014 and she collaborates on a permanent basis with Dryphoto arte contemporanea (Prato) and Fondazione Studio Marangoni (Florence).
