Marco Gualazzini has explored and documented Africa from 2009 to 2018. Lashed by crisis, wars and humanitarian emergencies, Africa has developed an extraordinary reaction capacity: resilience, the capacity to recover from difficulties and changes, even from the hardest ones. The 40 photographs on show tell different stories from different areas of the African continent: Congo where they still believe in magic and rape is a weapon of war; Mali and its war; the desperate living conditions in Sudan and Somalia; the humanitarian crisis in the Lake Ciad region.
