A great retrospective that retraces the story of the Genoese photographer, who is now over ninety years old. 170 photographs, mostly unpublished, that range from three of her major projects from the Sixties and Seventies (the Paris Metro, the transgender and Sicily) to the reportages she realized in India, Afghanistan, Latin America, the photographs realized in Genoa and her portraits of famous personalities. The photographer’s gaze is characterized by a careful observation of reality, never occasional and extraordinarily empathetic.
