The human and professional adventure of the great photographer from Palermo, much appreciated internationally, in a retrospective of 300 shots, some famous, firmly present in the collective imagination, others unpublished: photographs capable of documenting reality, not only Sicilian, with a critical and poetic look at the same time.
Women and children, society and politics, cities and rallies, misery and mafia crimes, love and death: the exhibition, curated by Francesca Alfano Miglietti, is the portrait of a countercurrent and committed intellectual, who lived photography “as salvation and truth”. A milestone in the Italian photographic panorama, not only for her talent but also for the ethical value attached to her work.
