Francesca Woodman ǀ Fotografie dalla collezione di Carla Sozzani

The exhibition, curated by Maria Savarese, presents fifteen works, one of them exhibited for the first time in Naples (Untitled, 1980, Diazotype print, 360.5×97 cm). A intense journey in the aesthetic research of Francesca Woodman, prematurely disappeared and deeply attached to Italy. The photographs, in black and white, investigate the relationship between body and space, between visible and invisible. They are populated by female figures that blend with the environment, in an enigmatic game of exchanges. In the exhibition, to accompany the photographs, three videos made by the artist between 1975 and 1978.
