Battaglia, D’Amico, Lucas | La stada, la lotta, l’amore

In the village of Castelnuovo Magra, in Lunigiana, three masters of Italian photography, together for the first time, share the space of a new exhibition. Three great photojournalists, with love and passion, told the story, the streets and squares of Italy, the struggles, the society and the conflicts, from the dispute in the 70s to the present day. The images of Tano D’Amico and Uliano Lucas document the student movement, the protests and strikes of workers, the battles for civil rights; Letizia Battaglia testifies to the disconcerting violence of the Sicilian mafia and the brutality of its crimes.
