100 photographers for Bergamo
27 March 2020 - 3 April 2020
The world of photography is also taking action in the solidarity race to face the health emergency linked to the Coronavirus: 100 photographers for Bergamo is the initiative started by Perimetro magazine and Liveinslums Onlus in support of the intensive care unit and reanimation department of the Pope John XXIII Hospital in Bergamo, a city dramatically affected by the epidemic.
One hundred famous Italian photographers responded to the moving video call of an anesthetist doctor from the hospital in Bergamo and each of them donated one of their works, which can be purchased online, to contribute to the cause of those who are bravely on the front line every day.
The prints can be purchased on the perimeter.eu website, until April 5, at a cost of 100 euros each: the proceeds will be donated entirely to the hospital Pope John XXIII to strengthen the intensive care unit.
Among the authors, leading figures on the contemporary Italian scene: Maurizio Galimberti, Gabriele Micalizzi, Davide Monteleone, Paolo Pellegrin, Paolo Roversi, Toni Thorimbert, Oliviero Toscani, Francesco Zizola, to name a few. And young rising talents like Paolo Belletti, Elena Braghieri, Alessandro Cinque, Delfino Sisto Legnani.
