Enrico Stefanelli is a photographer, journalist and curator. He also holds photography workshops.
He is the founder and artistic director of the Photolux Festival. International Biennial of Photography in Lucca.
He has curated several exhibitions, among them, recently, Cadets by Paolo Verzone for Les Rencontres de la Photographie in Arles.
He held portfolio reviews for Les Rencontres d’Arles, Santa Fe Photo Festival, Kaunas Festival, Eyes in Progress, Fotofestiwal, 16e China International Photographic Art Festival, Fotografia Europea, Backlight Photo Festival, FotoFest (Houston), Auckland Festival of Photography, Festival de la Luz (Buenos Aires), Center (Santa Fe).
He took part to the juries in several international awards, such as Kaunas Festival, LensCulture, The Manuel Rivera-Ortiz Foundation Grant, Lugano Photo Days, FOTODOC Center for Documentary Photography (Sakharov center), Photolucida – Critical Mass and Gomma Grant, ArteLaguna Prize (Venice), HeadOn Festival (Sydney).
He is a member of the Nominating committee for the “6 x 6” at World Press Photo Foundation and nominator for the Leica Oskar Barnack Award.
