Hope. Prix Pictet

Fondazione Sozzani hosts the exhibition dedicated to the winners of the Prix Pictet, the most important international photography award dedicated to the theme of sustainability (social, economic and environmental).

The exhibition has a strong international connotation; about 100 images taken from the visual research of 12 photographers from all over the world will be on display: the finalists of the Prix Pictet’s eighth edition, dedicated to the theme of hope and won by Ivorian photographer Johana Choumali. Moreover, this being the 100th exhibition organized for the prize, a world tour is planned in over 40 cities, from New York to Tokyo, from Dublin to Milan.

Events such as the Prix Pictet, which bring to light works of global scope and show the most hidden sides of events of transnational importance, are necessary and functional to a process of social and geopolitical awareness, which viewers reach through the powerful images exhibited and awarded each year.
