Festival della Fotografia Etica di Lodi

From September 25th to October 24th 2021 you can visit the exhibitions and participate in the events of the XII edition of the Festival della Fotografia Etica in Lodi; 80 photographers from all around the world are presented this year, whose works are displayed in 20 exhibitions scattered around the several venues of the Lombard city.

Of particular interest is the presence of two winners of the latest edition of the World Press Photo: Ami Vitale’s giraffes in danger on the flooded island and the love story between Jasper Doest’s “domestic” pigeons are some of the main attractions of the festival.

The partnership between FFE and EMERGENCY, an association founded by the late Gino Strada, continues through the exhibition “Un ricordo per Gino” with photographs of Giulio Piscitelli made in Afghanistan in the hospitals of Kabul and Lashkar Gah.

Other hot topics dear to current events and not too far from the events of this 2021 are addressed in the section “Uno Sguardo sul Nuovo Mondo“, visited at the Palazzo della provincia, which attempts to explore the socio-political situations and complex international relationships of the USA, Syria and Iran.

FFE is also a milestone within the RESET project of Sistema Festival Fotografia, of which Photolux Festival is an integral part and will draw the sums of the entire initiative during the month of November.
