DESCRIPTION:The uniforms tell the story: the clothes worn at work\, from blue overalls to white collars\, are the protagonists of the exhibition in Bologna\, a reflection on the multiple types of clothing of workers in the most diverse historical\, social and professional contexts. \nCurated by Urs Stahel\, the group show Work uniforms in the images of 44 photographers brings together 600 shots\, taken by masters of photography\, both contemporary and from the past\, who have tackled the theme through different looks and styles. From Irving Penn\, Herb Ritts\, August Sander to Paola Agosti\, Sonja Braas\, Song Chao\, Sebastião Salgado\, to name but a few of many excellent names. The exhibition also includes the monographic Industrial Portraits by the American Walead Beshty\, who has photographed hundreds of insiders in the art world at work: reluctant to use all kinds of professional uniforms\, in fact united by a sort of tacit anti-uniform code. \n
