DESCRIPTION:The exhibition in Lausanne reveals the secret and personal side of the Swiss photographer\, one of the most famous photojournalists of our time\, who witnessed some of the momentous events in the second half of the 20th century and who created portraits of influential people that have become icons\, such as the famous Che Guevara with a cigar. \nThere are many memorable images by Burri (1933-2014)\, a member of Magnum Photos since 1959\, but the aim of the exhibition The Explosion of Sight is to explore the artist’s creative processes\, his eclectic\, poetic and “explosive” side. The exhibition\, divided into 12 sections\, presents many unpublished documents – including contact sheets\, collages\, graphic and pictorial works – ranging from cinema\, books\, television and\, of course\, photography. \n
