SUMMARY:REFOCUS. Archivio visivo della pandemia
DESCRIPTION:The Direzione Generale Creatività Contemporanea (DGCC) del Ministero della Cultura\, in collaboration with Museo di Fotografia Contemporanea and Triennale Milano\, presents the exhibition REFOCUS. Visual Archive of the Pandemic. The exhibition displays the works of forty young photographers\, who were able to reinterpret the experiential and existential side of the first months of the Covid-19 pandemic. \nThe exhibition attempts to “refocus” the reality and priorities following the advent of the virus. The photographers rework the concepts of 4 main macro-themes: the intimacy of the private sphere\, language\, landscapes and communities\, allegories and fantasies. \nThe multimedia installation\, which presents works ranging from reportage to meta-photographic experimentation\, attempts to propose to the viewer an immersive and multi-sensory experience\, reminiscent of the material lack and the excess of the virtual that characterized so much the first lockdowns. \n
