DESCRIPTION:Lucca comes alive for the 2019 edition of Photolux Festival\, the International Biennial of Photography directed by Enrico Stefanelli. For three weeks you can broaden your photographic horizons thanks to the 30 exhibitions  spread across different locations in the city\, together with a full program of talks\, presentations\, awards\, workshops\, portfolio reviews. \nMondi/New worlds\, this is the theme of the festival\, “tells the story of the past century\, with a look to the future”\, leading the viewer to the discovery of parallel universes and distant or unusual realities. From the collective exhibition celebrating the anniversary of the first man on the moon\, to Fontcuberta’s “Martian” project; from the anthological exhibition dedicated to the great Romano Cagnoni to the Iranian revolution of the equally celebrated Abbas\, passing through the Magnum Revolution; from Russia to Berlin\, to David Appleby’s The Wall with photos taken on the set of the famous film. And again\, international contests such as World Press Photo and Oskar Barnack Award. \nThe program of exhibitions is all to be discovered! \n
