The exhibition follows the French stage hosted at the Musée du Luxembourg and features over 250 images, many of which are unpublished or rare, such as those in color, as well as Super 8 videos and personal items of the American photographer. A section is dedicated to the shots, never seen before, taken during his trip to Italy, in particular in Turin and Genoa.

Casa dei Tre Oci in Venice presents the largest retrospective ever made so far, the first in Italy, dedicated to the Franco-Swiss photographer Sabine Weiss, who passed away at the age of 97 in her home in Paris on 28 December 2021, among the major representatives of French humanist photography together with Robert Doisneau, Willy Ronis, Edouard Boubat, Brassaï and Izis.
